 I am going to be a history or government major in college and in order for me to fit into my degree plan my science requirements i'd have to double minor in biology and chemistry.... though my GPA in my biology and chemistry is not going to be very high, would it be a good idea to bring it up by taking lower level sciences li.e. Astronomy, Nutrition, Geology as courses on the Natural science part of my degree plan to bring up my Science GPA, or do those courses not even count? Just wondering.... 😀

almost positive astronomy and geology courses count; less sure about nutrition.

you have to do what you have to do, but i wouldn't take a ton of these courses as it will be sort of obvious. better off to take upper division biology courses that not only look impressive but will be super helpful once you get to med. of course these will require more work but ya can't take the path of least resistance and still expect to make it happen. i know science gpas suck, i've spent 2+ years trying to dig mine out of a hole. good luck!!
