I transfered to UW from community college with a 3.4 and graduated from UW with a 3.8. I am taking my science classes at a cal state and am doing fairly well thus far, A's and B's, finished my first semester with a 3.6 .... and getting together research and experience.... basically my question is science gpa is more important than cummulative right? if i keep my science gpa up I will have a good shot right?

Both GPAs are important. Work hard in all your classes.

Great advice, but if one were to select one of the two to attach more significance to, it would be your Science GPA. Do well in all of your classes though.

what are you worried about? It sounds like your gpa is fine!
Good luck!:luck:
