Hello All,

I just had some advice as to whether or not some of the classes that I have taken are science GPA calculated or not.

I have looked at the AACOMAS guidelines, but I didn't see anything for the Health Sciences. I am a Health and Exercise Science Major (concentration Sports Medicine). Will all of my major class (ie: EX___) be calculated as Science GPA courses? I earned and BS by taking them, so I would think that they would.

Typically, your science courses are counted as Gen Chem, Bio, O Chem, Physics, Biochem and any upper division science courses. You didn't mention the names of any of the classes, so it's hard to judge whether or not they would count. You should speak to your advisor to check if your courses are counted.

EX319 Neuromuscular Apsects of Human Movement?
EX407 Physiology of Exercise?

please see post #2 in the FAQ. Please note that science GPA includes courses listed under "other science". Kinesiology is considered other science. The classes listed in post #3 should be calculated into your science GPA and cumulative GPA.
