Yes. Yes. There is a list somewhere. Try doing a search for it. No problem.

Math is included? Gulp, didnt know that one : /

well....that sure makes things look a bit worse.

Math is included in the Science GPA but not the BCP GPA.

yeah, i just looked at

Seems a bit sillly to include math in science gpa imo. It can turn a 3.4 into a 2.90 ....take my word on this one. Its no more of a science than social studies :/ Ah well, looks like its time to load up on some filler "science" classes they have listed. What a waste of time...

How can you possibly say math is a no science subject ???????? if anything, ALL THE science in the world today is originated from mathematics.

Without math you have no physics, no chemistry, no man on the moon, no newton, NOTHING, we would all be living in caves and sharpening rocks using our asses

thats a pretty funny image you painted right there . obviously that person is very misinformed. math is very much a science.

Why? Because math is math and science is science. If no one could read, science would grind to a halt too. Does that mean classes developing reading skills should be scientific gpa? More things than you can imagine in the science field branch from the Latin language, should my 3 years of Latin be science GPA? You have to draw a line somewhere, and a pretty good line to draw for science is.......science is science...this isn't complicated. If you succeed at science using math....why should the math grades count? Thats all Im wondering. If you say its related, sure. But I also was taught all of these sciences by means of the english language but I think any sort of English classes should stay off the science GPA, what do you think?

Now, understandably I'm a bit disappointed(with myself of course) about my recent discovery. Then I realized its not so bad because I have a bunch of little BS easy A classes that apparently count as "science". Let me have my incredulous moment upon hearing of this and Ill let you have your "math is neato! ....and its science!" platform and we can all get along. Hell, Ill even give you "social science" to put on your science gpa list if you want. Maybe thatll satisfy your greediness for every subject to be science?

You can say Im "misinformed", Im just giving a realistic categorization. For instance, I put petrol my car to travel. Sure, the petrol is derived from crude oil, and crude oil is formed by old dead organisms like algaes... . But I do not walk around telling people I just filled my car up with algae. All I ask is for a bit of reason be used. Not that I am going to be a catalyst for any changes here, but I just wish it was called science and math GPA since thats what it is. Thats the only point I was making.

you really can not relate "reading" to "science of math"

Check this out.... You can have reading WITHOUT any math

But you CANNOT have natural sciences without any math...

see the relationship??

Nasem, dont waste your time trying to explain it to him.

Engineering is on that list, too. That's not helping me at all. I had no idea that my freshman engineering courses before I switched majors would come back to affect the all important science GPA.

You guys can say what you want about math, but there is nothing I learned in engineering that relates to my understanding of 'science.'
