I'm a couple years out of undergrad, a reapplicant. My two science letters of recommendation were written by engineering professors. It didn't occur to me until recently that these may not qualify. Should I be concerned?

N = 1, but I had a "science" letter written by an engineering professor this cycle. It didn't seem to be a problem for any of the schools that I applied to.

Engineering is very much a science. While engineering classes might not count for BCPM GPA, it would be a weird argument indeed if someone tried to argue that engineering isn't a science. However, it might be better if you had at least one professor who taught you in a pure science course write a letter for variety. If there's no one in mind who can write you a good letter, don't sacrifice quality just for the sake of getting a pure science letter.
