Would a letter from a professor of psychopharmacology count as a science LOR?

The professor is in the psychology department, but he is also the neuroscience chair at our affiliated medical school.

Would be fine, ask him to included both his professorial rank as well as his chair position

The course I took from the professor is technically in the psychology department. Do you think this will cause any problems in categorizing the letter as "science"?

Here's the description of the course, if that helps:
The effects of psychoactive drugs on consciousness and behavior. The mechanisms of drug action on neurotransmitter systems are emphasized. Topics include the relationship between behavior and endogenous neurochemical activity, therapeutic agents in psychopathology, and drugs of abuse.
