I'm curious if a LOR from a psychology department behavioral neuroscience teacher (Teaches: Bio Basis of Behavior, Neural System & Behavior, and Behavioral Neurobiology Lab) would constitute as a science LOR or non-science?

I had an LoR from my behavior neuroscience/psych as a natural science professor and it served as my non-science letter.

I had an LoR from a Cognitive Neuroscience professor (psych dept) and it was counted as my science letter at all schools - I just had to clarify sometimes because it's not one of the big sciences (bio, chem, etc.)

Not sure how the application works but.. how'd that work out? lol

Ok, sounds like my behavioral neuroscience professor can count then.

you seem comfortable enough giving out all sorts of advice, i think you can help yourself on this one

Why risk it? Go for the hard science profs to insure a standard app at all schools.
