I'm currently in line to graduate with a non-science major next semester. I honestly don't know if taking all the med school pre-reqs will get you a degree, but if it doesn't, is a science degree needed?

No, taking the medical school pre-reqs will not give you enough credits for another degree. Also, you do not need a "science" degree to get into med school. There are many stories on these boards of humanities, business, and social science students getting into med school. In fact, in the interests of diversity, having a non traditional undergraduate degree will give you a tiny bit of uniqueness on your app, for whatever that is worth.

Agree. If you are graduating in an nonsci major, look into formal postbacs to take your prereqs. If you can get into one of those, they tend to have very good track records for med school admissions.
