Hello,
I am planning to apply to a US medical school and for the Early Decision Program. I don't have any contact with any of my previous professors in my "science" classes. Does anyone know if the schools are willing to take only "one" science reference, which will be my graduate supervisor? Will they allow you to replace the science reference with a non-academic reference if I am unable to get one?

Your best bet would be to call the individual schools and ask about their policy on the matter. Some schools are very flexible in the LORs they accept, others take a hard line and will insist that you have two LORs from science professors.
