Hi-

A bit remedial, however I'm having trouble distinguishing which classes to count towards my science GPA. It seems as thought every source I look at (AMCAS), etc..has some, but not all of my undergrad courses listed by prefix. I was an environmental science major, so most of my classes were science based, but I'm not sure if they all count. I will list what I've counted and maybe someone could comment; If you see something in the wrong spot, please let me know!

Classes I've counted:
Bio(BI)
Chem(CH)
Stats(MT)
Algebra and Trig(MT)
Ecology(BI)
Genetics(BI)

Classes im not sure:
Conservation bio(BI)
Vert. zoology(BI)
Invert. zoology(BI)
Animal behavior(BI)
Forest ecology(BI)
Environmental science(ES)
Wetland ecology(ES)
Piano (jus kiddin)

I agree with the above post. As far as I know, all of those courses (except, of course, for piano) should count towards your science GPA!

Thanks guys!

What about a senior thesis in science?

definitely all the zoology and ecology, not sure about the rest. 👍 Best of luck.

If your senior thesis shows up as a research credit for bio or somesuch, then yeah, that counts.

Also, I'm not sure about the environmental courses counting for science; AMCAS is pretty picky. I believe there is a list on the AMCAS website somewhere that goes into more detail about it.
