I have gotten my PAT timing down to a T....but after taking my first topscore I can tell that my Sciences timing is way off.

How much time out of the 90 minutes do you give to each of the 3 sections. I know that Biology should be much faster than Ochem or Gen Chem. Should I give even more time to Gen chem seeing as the most calculations are in Gen chem? I just don't know how to break it up!

I took the test yesterday, and I will tell you the way I approached it. I used 20 mins for Bio, 20 for OChem, and the rest for GenChem. OChem is really basic and Bio, if you don't know it, you just don't know it. If you need to add another 5 or so mins to each, that's fine too. Just leave yourself plenty of time to do GC.

Also, QR timing is EXTREMELY hard, as every question in this section takes a long time to complete. Be extra sure that you're confident in this area, I got burned yesterday morning. A lot of the stuff I had never seen, and could not afford to buy the Math Destroyer. Maybe you have it, if so...practice like crazy on timing and not relying on the stupid calculator.

Best of Luck to You!

Took the DAT today, and used 20-25 min for Bio...don't waste too much time on it, need to put time toward GChem, and 20-25 min for OChem, so that leaves you 50-40 min for GChem

How did you find the bio section on DAT

I found mine really easy.. No random questions 🙂
