I posted about the Premed requirement changes that are being proposed by the AAMC, but I wanted to post this also here because there are even more competency based changes that they are advocating for medical students. Since I'm not a medical student I can't comment about the changes, but I thought that people might be interested.

doesn't make a lot of sense to have more pre-med requirements. many of our top students had non pre-med related majors. this also looks like (another) obstacle for adult students to get into medical school.
