I get the New England Journal of Medicine. Some of the articles are far to advanced for my humble medical knowledge, but there are other articles like editorials and case studies that are very interesting to read. I've also noticed that reading the complicated articles is a great way to practice for the type of articles that are in the MCAT. Also, NEJM offers a relatively affordable rate for students and it comes every week. Just an idea.
There is also The Scientist, which is a good review of current research. It is free.

Do not get SciAm if you expect to find unbiased articles in it. I subscribed to SciAm for about 5 years. Their articles are great! Except when you realize the bias in the articles themselves and in the editors. Subscribe to Science instead.

I second Science. Nature is also good, too.
yeah, science and nature are both good, but don't they both have pretty hefty subscription prices?
just read them online/print out articles using your school library's account.

That's exactly what I do! 😀
Oh, and what's great about living on campus is that when your school gets a site license, anyone on the university subnet can access it! It's great when I can read all the Science and Nature articles from my dorm room. I just wish they subscribe to the online version of JAMA. 😉
