Hey guys,

I was curious about how review publications (I have authorship) are looked upon. If I want to talk about research experiences, would it be good to talk about them or should I just kinda mention them briefly and move on?

**review publication as in no new research, just a basic compilation and summary of many others on a subject

As long as they're in Pubmed, these are excellent.

ANY pub for a UG student is good, even if it's in the Kansas J or Botany and has an impact factor of 0.5.

As someone who had to do literature search for my summer research projects, thanks for doing a review article. They seem like a pain in the ass to write, but are like finding gold mines in a literature search. A good review/meta-anal saves me from having to read 10+ articles, because they're all consolidated into one easy to understand paper 🙂.
