Score conversion for AAMC practice tests 4 - 10

Hey Friends,

I have access to the AAMC practice tests 3 - 10 and the answers guides from Kaplan, but nowhere is there a score conversion chart for the various exams for what a total score would translate to out of 15 points for each section in the actual MCAT.

Does anyone have a document outlining this, or could type up quickly the conversion? I'd appreciate it 1 million times over!!

The term Full Length was called at various times by different people and created confusion.

In the PDF file, for each # there are 2 tables, one with "full length" and one does not. The one does not is the current CBT version of practice test as it carries 52 questions for science. However, they both should consider as Full Length (FL) test and in fact called as such by many SDNers.

When people talked about R exams, they meant the older version of FL which carried 77 questions for science.

I think if you google them you can find them..this was a while ago so I don't remember the exact search terms sorry.
I know if you google the Kaplan AAMC practice tests you can find them all..don't know if they are the same as AAMC official or Kaplan's version.

Sorry for bothering you all...but I just wanted to make sure I'm not crazy-- so for example, the score for test 9 says that a 51-52 is a 15 for the physical science section.. but aren't there 78 questions on that section? Does that really mean you can get >20 questions wrong and still get a 15? What am I missing? 🙁

You must be using an old exam. On the current ones, it's 52 questions PS and BS and 40 questions VR.

They have exactly the same questions but omit passages to make them shorter. I liked them [R] because they had more problems to practice with, however I don't know if the scores are as relevant. They [R] definitely get you ready for the long hauls and made 11 and 10 much easier because they seemed so much shorter (that extra 30 minutes is really a killer). Anyway, maybe someone has a better comparison?
