Hi Everybody,

I have less than 2 weeks until my Step 1. I was wondering if it's reasonable to start Pathoma now? Not sure what else to do other than read FA again and refresh stuff I forgot.

Here's my stats so far:

-Before doing anything I had read/annotated Goljan RR and his audio lectures into FA
-Started UWorld getting 30s. Plateaued at 45% about a quarter of it in.
-Gave in and did DIT for 3 weeks---jumped to 75% and stayed consistently between 65-75%.
-Finished Uworld (1x) last weekend with a 60%

I find with me its not so much material that is the problem, but just being able to properly interpret questions. Its weird--I usually get the tough (30-50% difficulty) questions right on Uworld but then get the easier (70-85% difficulty) questions wrong. I guess it was hard for me to believe some questions were actually as straightforward as they seemed.

lol Anyways. From assessments I've taken I have oscillated between 230 and 245. I'm actually nervous that 220 on the real thing is still possible (Goal >240). My UW1 assessment doesnt help with weak areas b/c my bars lengths are literally wide from Lowest to Highest on nearly all subjects. I guess I either know the answer or I dont, depends on my interpretation really.

Any suggestions from all you awesome SDN braniacs would be greatly appreciated. Would pathoma help me at this point? I found DIT got me over a hump, so maybe pathoma might be the extra "Mario Bro's Mushroom" boost I need 😉 Or should I just stick with getting through FA for a final (3rd) time?
Thanks!

If you are getting bw 230-245 on ur practice exam, I think you are well set for a that range on the actual exam. Are those scores from uw self assessment or nbmes?

I have the same problem. The majority of questions i miss, the majority of others got right. 😀

with two weeks left I think you can afford to do some pathoma for a bit. then i guess a week of the other stuff... whatever that is.
