Didn't do as well as I had anticipated, but my scores may be good enough to get the job done:

PA 18
QR 15 :scared:
RC 18
Bio 19
GCHEM 20
OCHEM 20
AA 18 (QR weighed me down by a point or two)

GPA 3.7 (Double major in Biology and Spanish)

Applying to UIC, SIU, Marquette, Indiana University, OHSU, and University of Colorado.

Most of these schools have average AA acceptances of 18 or 19, so I MIGHT GET OFFERS!!!

nice! very consistent! i think you should be ok. remember those schools have acceptance averages around 18-19 so that means they take students above and below those averages, so i dont think you should lose any sleep over it.

what did you use to study with? especially gchem cause i suck at it!? ive been using the kaplan blue book, destroyer, a text, cliffs, and practice tests but i always seem to miss the littlest details that screw me up completely. any suggestions?

Since you claim to a "Dental Student" why are you worried about your DAT scores? Or is it just a premature claim?

🙂

When I initially set up my account on SND, I was very cursory about the process and just clicked what I could find. I didn't take the time to scroll through the list, I just was looking for something dental. (Yes, I am lazy 😴)

Fortunately for me, the gchem portion only had about 3 calculations 👍

But I mainly used DAT destroyer, and some online resources. I was having difficulty understanding acid strengths, so I used a webpage some college set up.

Hey YungJoc,
I noticed you used the princton review for Bio. How helpful was this book in preparing you for the DAT. Thanks.

The most useful info I extracted from it was the male and female hormonal/sexual cycles and reproduction, and peptide vs steroid hormones. I read through the material once through the summer, so I'm not sure if I really reaped the full benefits of the material. I'm confident to say that if I would have read throught the bio once or twice more, my bio score really would have went up. Excellent book.

I should have read through the chem sections, I'm sure that would have helped as well!!!
