Hey dude, unfortunately I'm in the same boat as you. I took it on the 25th of Aug and still no news. Are you an IMG by the way?
Hang in there buddy! I'm with you!

yes IMG from mexico

Well I'm IMS (student), and I just got off the phone with ecfmg. Apparently they sent out a certification of identification form to my school to verify that I was still a student when I took step 1, now they are waiting for that form to come back to them so they can release my score and hence the delay.

So you should really give them a call and see what they have to say. One thing I can think of that would have caused the delay in score reporting is that your credentials are not yet verified??
But definitely give them a call soon!

good luck!

I called and they told me my medical school had not sent them a verification letter.

I went down to my medical school to see what happened, I get to see the secretary in charge, and she tells me she has had the letter for 3 months and she forgot to mail it. OMG. I'm here worried what could be the problem and this stupid secretary just forgot, OH, and acording to her it was my fault.

Ouch! That would make me so mad.

Well, take it easy buddy, at least you know the reason behind the score delay now! It shouldn't be too long before the score is out.
Good luck!

Cheers

UPDATE: They really gave me te run around. After I had learned that the letter was not sent, I quickly airmailed it out to the ECFMG, on october 4th, the routing number said it arrived on october 8th. Two weeks after that it hadn't arrived and I called them and they said that it never arrived. WOW!!! Told me that they would have to send me another letter by standard mail. That would take another month to get down here. And another coulple of weeks to send it back and for them to process it. I thought I would have my results by december 🙁 seing as how my exam was in august, I almost started to cry. Well I said the hell with it. It will have to come eventually.

And the voila... I wake up, check my email on a monday, and it's here 215/91. I'm so happy, finally I can move on to step 2 🙂

Hey Davi can you post what materials you used to prepare? Thanks.

I read all the kaplan lecture notes. At the begining i tried watching the videos to complement the notes, but it took much time (even though I think i would have done better if I kept that on). The last month all I did was USMLE world, those questions are twice as hard as the real usmle. I scored on average 61%, timed, all new questions.
