How do you interpret the below statement? I feel that there is a chance that some examinees may in fact get there score back within 3 or 4 weeks even though they took the exam after mid-may. Your thoughts?

Delay in USMLE Step 1 Score Reporting
Most score reporting of Step 1 results occurs within four weeks of testing. However, because of necessary modifications to the test item pool, there will be a delay in reporting for some examinees testing beginning in mid-May 2011. The target date for reporting Step 1 scores for most examinees testing from May 17 through late June will be Wednesday, July 13, 2011.

Sounds like some people might get theirs back on time. Probably has to do with if/how many of the new experimental questions you got.

They always come back on wednesdays, and you get an email saying that your scores will be uploaded that day usually around 12 pm EST.

Last year, based on the 2010 thread, it seemed like everyone's scores were delayed. I believe it works like so:

May 17th to June 24th will get their scores on July 13th.
After June 24th, it'd be the same delay as normal --> 3 wednesdays after the end of your test week. (E.g. June 27th to July 1 will all get their scores on July 20th.)

Feel free to correct if you know otherwise.
