If an applicant scores 20points higher on step 2 compared to step 1 how does this factor in application for Urology? Do programs take the average of both scores? Use the higher score? or still weigh Step 1 more? Any advice on this is very helpful. Thanks in advance.

doesn't matter.
they like to see high scores but that is just part of the package.
if you have two low scores that will matter.
grades, research, and more importantly if you seem like an ambitious, hard working person that helps more.
being known to the program and doing a good job matters a ton.
