Scores and Acceptances

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
LOL. It is true that these stats emails sorta have that connotation.

What I find to be funniest is that people seem to claim that people are honestly posting high scores to boost their ego. The fact is these people with good stats are STILL worried about getting into medical school. That is the EXACT OPPOSITE of being egotistical. Perhaps you should consider this before calling these people arrogant, for they are human as well and have real doubts and fears.

Also, for those of you who complained about people posting high scores, you didn't exactly specify I cutoff either. So basically, its a subjective argument that whiners will make whenever they feel like.

As long as people are telling the truth, let them continue to post on this lame thread. Let's face it, this thread is simply for bragging/showing your stuff. Just because someone shows more stuff than you doesn't mean they dont have a right to post as well.

um, if you think this thread is so lame then why are you defending the people (self included) who post on here? OK, looking back maybe this thread isn't such a great idea. even if it wasn't intended to be a helpful thread by the original poster, it might have such potential to help people who are applying next year or waiting for interviews to see where they MIGHT have a shot based on stats. BTW, glad you defended my "write" to post, thanks! I can't wait to sea how many grameticel and splein errers people taken pride in findin in tis poast.

I think it's great to post your stats to help out the people who are waiting. But remember everyone, the people posting are supposed to have high stats. They have gotten acceptances relatively early in the process so it's the top dogs who are posting here.

No need for people to get offended or accuse anyone of inflating their scores. Just accept the fact that the people who have already gained acceptance have done so because because they're great applicants.

OH YEAH, and no slamming on Woots. Even if she used bad grammar (which she didn't) it's probably because she's working on getting hammered and having some more family fun to post in the lounge. I guarantee the girl can outdrink any guy on this board, or atleast hang with them.

clittle,
First off, I basically said exactly what you stated. And secondly, I made no personal statement in regard to my own scores to continue what I believe to be a poor thread.

Also consider growing up about spelling/grammatical errors on a message board. Unlike you, I actually have a real life to worry about and don't care what others think about my ability to write as long as I can get my message across.

Arrogant premeds like you ruin the reputations of the rest, and it truly is a sad state of affairs.
