I took the DAT and didn't do as good as I wanted too or as good as I have been doing on practice exams. I got myself so worked up and nervous that I had a terrible time being confident and focused. I'm sure some more studying before the retake and some relaxation exercises will get me the scores I want.

However, in the mean time I'm very nervous about my application status. I've invested so much money in my applications that I'd hate to be declined with crappy scores before I can actually retake the exam. Has anyone heard or has had any experience with withholding scores or some how letting the schools seriously understand to not decline you and await future scores?

I'd appreciate any advice or information. Thanks.

Sooner or later the schools are going to need to see your DAT scores. If this is your first time taking it and you decide to retake it they will see both your scores.
