Hello,

I just took Kaplan Full length 9 and got a 12 on both physical and biological. However, I missed many more questions, for example i only got a 38/52 on physical, which would be considered a 9 by princeton and i got only 35/52 on biological would would also be around a 9 for princeton. Which scores do I trust. I feel like I am getting the material, but that kaplan often asks tough questions that require ardous calculation.

I think the scaled score range differs for each question set you get, doesn't it? So is that 9 from Princeton based on some other, easier set of questions?

I think Kaplan curves are too generous, but I like their tests due to the fact they are harder.

This is what some of us on here have done. Take a Kaplan test but use a AAMC conversion chart.

I also think Kaplan verbal is crap so I subsitute a EK verbal for the verbal section.

Break a 30 this way and you will be set!!

I would also recommend getting the berk review exams because they are difficult and will prepare you better for the real one.

Also, take at least several AAMCs. I think a good 8-12 practice tests are enough. I believe I did not practice nearly enough last time.

Where can you get the aamc conversion charts? I looked on the website and I couldn't find them.

I have been taking the Kaplan practice tests and doing well, but then I took an aamc test and my score dropped 6 points!!! I am taking the test soon, and this completely ruined my confidence. What the f***?

Here's the one for AAMC CBT 10. This should serve as a good estimate. There is variance with every test, but they're all similar.
