Scoring the PAT

I was reading in Barron's (How to Prepare for the DAT) that the PAT consists of 90 questions (as we all know) but we are only scored on 75 of them. It says the other 15 are "experimental questions" that are scattered throughout the PAT and are unidentifiable. This is an older edition (copy write 1999), so is that still true? I have never heard that!
