hi all,
I had a question regarding CBT scoring.
Two factors affect a candidate's score: the number of correct answers selected by the candidate and the conversion scale for the examination. The conversion scale used to score a new edition of an examination is based upon the performance of a well-defined reference group.
1.How is CBT scoring of examination done?. Do u have standard conversion scale through out the yr or do you average set of students taken CBT per month and grade the scale for that particular month?
2..Is dec/july - paper based students r included with CBT taken students and graded on same conversion scale? If so obiviously there is more competation and does the scores really go high compared to other months in the year where only CBT can be taken?
3.If anyone knows does it really matter what month u take ur CBT to get higher percentile?
I'm sorry if I have confused u folks.Any kind of information is helpful please let me know.candidates who have taken CBT before can give their veiws.
