I am not sure what to make of the Scott and White program. I was very impressed during my interview but otherwise I don't know much about it. I know there cataract numbers are good ~170s, but I don't know about the rest of their surgical volume. are there any faculty members on SND who know about the program?

The residents there always insists that their program is good. Sometimes, maybe not with Scott and White, if a program goes out of its way to say it's good it's because it's not. On the other hand, Temple, TX is not a very well known city so maybe they need to shout more.

I think the number of cases that the residents do are good over there but it would be nice if they had more than one faculty member in each sub-specialty. I think they have multiple retina faculty, which is good.
