I should probably know the answer to this by now, but I've been going through my board review and using Qbank, and for a lot of the questions (especially physiology), I cannot for the life of me do the equations and calculations in my head. Do we have access to scratch paper while we take the exam, or do they expect us to be able to cross multiply and divide in our heads?

i saw people with ear plugs. i think you can ask for them but maybe not wear your own. i just wore the ear muffs so i'm not sure.

For step I they provided me with earplugs, but you are not allowed to use your own. For step II (at the same center), they no longer provided earplugs and it was ear muffs or nothing.
