Scratch Paper? White board?

I called my OAT testing site and they informed me that they give out three 3x5 pieces of stock paper that have been laminated w/ a dry erase marker. I asked it there was any way to get paper/pencil and they said that they dry erase is what they have in their system. I called other testing sites in my state, but outside of my city, and they all are giving paper/pencil. Anyone know about this dry erase stuff??

I took 2 tests at the same center, the DAT and OAT. On the DAT I got a dry erase board and on the OAT I got scratch paper (just a week apart). I'm not sure why they did that, but I liked the paper MUCH better. The dry erase pen is just too thick and hard to do math with, for me at least.
