Which schools screen for secondaries(I know loyola does)? Also, the secondary screening is heavy or light(do majority of the applicants get the secondary not just from loyola but other schools which screen)?

All the UC's screen, many state schools screen if you are out-of-state applicant (U of MN, U of WI, Oregon HS, U of Iowa, etc.) Other schools off the top of my head...Wake Forest University and Mayo Med School. Each school has their own classifications for who gets their secondaries and how many. Some take the top 50% or other set number, some just have a set GPA/MCAT cutoff, etc. For example, Mayo gets about 2500 apps/year (i think) and will do phone interviews (their secondaries) for about 500. Then they interview about 250.

Mayo screens before offering a phone interview. They tell you over e-mail

U of MN screens for out of state students

UC schools screen

VCU screens out over half their applicants each year.

Wake screens... I think they screen pretty heavily, too.
