Screening Formulas

I've read all the posts regarding which schools screen etc., but does anyone know the formula for any of these schools? I saw that Mayo is GPA X 10, plus MCAT. The cut off being 66-67. Please start a list approx formulas if you know them. Thanks!

formula:

[{[(GPAx100)+(MCATx1.5)]/2}x3.14 (pi)]^1.2

if u have below a 2300, better start applying to the Caribbeans!

thats obviously to simple. But also, that formula makes up for .1 GPA for every point on the mcat.

A 3.6 and a 30= a 2.9 and a 37.....i personally dont think a 2.9 is getting in anywhere, no matter the mcat.

2.9? what are you talking about?

3.7/3.6 GPA and a 30 on the MCAT gets you by the PRE-secondary phase. It is not an indication of the kind of people they actually accept, but is just a tool they use to screen before they start sending out secondaries or phone interviews.

I'm surprised that Stanford screened out more than half of the people before they reach the secondary stage. It's probably beneficial to those who receive secondary cause it means adcom staff can spend more time reviewing each application.

Factoring age & sex is discrimination! They state in their literature, they "do not," consider these factors, yet your link says it is factored. How unfair!
