Ok my first topscore results are this:

bio: 17
gchem: 15
ochem: 15
PA: 20
RC: 19
QR: 18

Havnt taken the other two yet. I'm not gonna do much better on DAT am I??

Hmm, these were very similar to my topscore scores, if you really wanna kno em, u can run a search...bottom line, get everything above a 20, my reading comp was diff than yours tho, it was pretty high on both top score and the real thing. My PAT and QR sucked though...not a very quantitative kinda guy.

Utilize your time and focus on your weak areas! This is about all you can do at this point....your DAT is coming soon right? Since most scores move up a few points when comparing TopScore and the real DAT, I think in most areas you should expect a competitive score on the DAT. I would spend whatever time you have really focusing on gchem and ochem. I know I did pretty bad on topscore ochem, but ended up with a 19 on the real deal even without having taken ochem II, so keep your chin up and study away! Good luck with your last minute preparations, I'm sure you'll do fine.

Since changing the date of your DAT requires 48 hours notice and Iceman is taking the DAT tomorrow, your advice suddenly becomes more of an insult than something positive. The last thing you want to hear before your test, is that you're going to suck it up! Didn't you watch the movie "Bambi"?

I"m not sure what I'll eat for breakfast, but my mom gave me some new vitamin/food supplements to take and I hope they help out! I got some vegetable supplement to take before bed and some fruit supplement in the mornings. I think I might double up the dose tonight and in the morning!! One thing for sure it that I'll be getting PLENTY of sleep tonight and some caffeine in the morning... gotta have plenty of blood flow to the brain, haha.

Don't let your scores on topscore make you think that you can now determine what your real score will be. SARA is a bitter person and joys in others failure so don't pay attention to her. She also has a AA 19 but claims she was scoring 24's on topscore, I was scoring 15 - 19 (depending on the section) and also ended up with a AA 19. This just goes to show that at the end of the day the only thing you can be sure of is that you're taking the DAT tomorrow and are going to do the best you can! I'm cheering you on along with almost the rest of SDN, just go in with a positive attitude and you'll do fine. Good luck tomorrow. 👍

hey, iceman. i always enjoy your posts; you seem like a pretty kewl and humble young man. i wish you the best tomorrow and frankly with your scores from topscore i can see you will do very well. you are already their and may not even know it. further, i just took the dat my self and i can tell you that when you walk out of that building you will feel like a million dollars! it will all be over and you will know that you did it. good luck to you even though i know you won't need it! 🙂

Kaplan's material is supposedly harder than Top Score with the sciences of both being harder than the real DAT (except for maybe bio). Top Score is supposed to be closest to DAT as far as sciences go. PAT's usually drop 2-4 pts. from Top Score. This is info. from SDN, not personal experience. If you experience episodes of confusion, lethargy, or dry mouth discontinue use and consult your doctor.

Good job, Ice...everyone says if you're going to bomb one make it QR. I'm getting very worried over QR. Did you have the test that had 5-6 hard trig problems?

I had the sea urchin and comet/cranial imaging/neuro receptor test. I do remember several trig problems, and I do not know that trig stuff front and back, hence my score. But yea I'd know all those trig functions especially.

Good scores Iceman, just had a question though. Why didnt you take all 3 Topscore exams, and why did you wait so long to take the first one? You should use those exams as study tools, therefore, taking those exams at least a couple weeks in advance so that you can study the material that you missed.

Thanks guys. My topscore cd expired and it took forever to get a new cd for some reason. I had planned on taking all 3, but I spent more time studying chem and found myself running out of time. So I figured I'd spend my last couple of days studying. If I need to retake DAT because of QR, then I"ll take those other 2 topscores.

Yea good luck. Remember, quality studying. Dont move on unless you understand a topic (should have done that on QR myself).
