Scribe Programs

Hi,

I have a year off after finishing a post-bac this spring, so I need to start looking for a job. One option I've heard about is doing a scribe program. However, it is difficult to find information about scribe positions. Specifically in the central/northern Virginia area. I can work anywhere from Richmond west to Charlottesville and north to D.C. I have applied to one position at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in northern Virginia. There are some scribe programs in Richmond, but I haven't been able to locate any info about applications. And there is one at UVA, but it appears to be only for UVA students.

My friend (a graduate of UVA) works at a hospital as a scribe in Northern Virginia--- same place I used to work at as a scribe. PM for details, but we both used Scribe America, and they seemed to be desperately needing scribes, so most people interviewed got hired.
