Scrotal Hematoma Post-Orchiectomy

Hi Guys,

Any takers on the best way to manage a very large scrotal hematoma developing around 24 hours after orchiectomy?

It's a question that came up in Clinics and I've been scouring the Internet looking for management! I know that smaller hematomas are left alone, but am unsure as to whether there's a size cut-off at which intervention is indicated.

Theres no size criteria but most can be managed conservatively unless I suspect an expanding collection, one that is tense causing significant pain or any evidence of underlying infection.
