Are you kidding me? Thats the least funny show ive ever seen. It tries to be funny, and tries sometimes to be deep, and fails miserably at both. I must be missing something because there are so many of you scrub loving freaks out there!

<3 south park

I think scrubs is funny, but in the comedy category I would have to go with The Office. As for drama - it is of course Grey's Anatomy.

really? A scrubs hater?!!!!!!!!

I'm with twosoakers in being a lover of Scrubs  Its on really late at night here, 11:30, so I have to wait up for it!

Also agree with ri23 about the office, gold! As for drama my pick there would be House! (I watch it and pretend I am "studying")

The funniest show ever...maybe not. BUT I do love it. I always have at least one laugh out loud moment. How about the recent musical episode with the poo song?!

And kittenkiller I didn't start watching it until just the last couple years. I tried it early on and was where you were. But somehow it grew on me. Don't know why.

And the Office is definitely in a class by itself. Ironically, I didn't see much in it at first either. But by last season I was hooked.

I think watching House qualifies as studying. Last weeks episode (pregnant lady) was like a review of my Clinical Chemistry class from Tuesday

one laugh out loud per show? see thats why you need to watch south park instead. if im not cracking up the whole time it was a bad episode ;)

yeah i just dont get the whole scrubs thing

oh i do like house though...havent seen it since last year, but i like how they focus on diagnosis...its cool.

I'm with twosoakers, Scrubs is one of the best shows ever. I tivo the four different episodes they show everyday! Next would be Friends, followed by Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and Sex and the City.

what does <3 mean? < is a carrot, right? or is it like a party hat and a smile? i'm sooo text illiterate. thanks for setting me straight in advance!

the office - oh how it makes us cry!

hey wildfocus,

<3 = heart or love (it's supposed to be a sideways heart). so my name k9 <3er means canine lover :D

I <3 scrubs...and Zach Braff

holy turkleton...I didn't even know there were people who didn't like scrubs...it's my favorite. heh...and a human doctor once said scrubs is the most realistic medical show out there

Now we should be a REAL online forum and do a hurt/heal battle

+1 office
-1 house

i was on my third killians when i started this post last night, but i still think the show is damned funny.

i mean, come on....colin hay was on an episode! naked!!

I second that!

I third that!!

I am a diehard Scrubs fan, and it's the only show that EVERYONE at my vet clinic watches (we quote it on a daily basis.... we've currently trained our in-house macaw to spread his wings and say "EAGLE!" like JD does when he jumps from the couch to the counter (and lands on the floor)).

If you're a serious addict like myself, you'll know Joshua Radin, who sang the song "Winter" which plays when they're on their way to Brendan Frasier's funeral... we went to see him perform the other day, it was *amazing*, highly recommend.

Grey's Anatomy wishes it could be so good =)

(anyone here addicted to Battlestar Galactica? yes, I am a nerd....)

I'm sorry, but <3 looks like sideways testicles to me. I too had to ask what <3meant, because testicles sure wasn't fitting in the flow of the post's meaning most of the time.:p

oh man, I also love scrubs! house is great, I'm with you guys on the office.... I had to netflix the first season and then I really liked it.

not a bsg fan (hub is a FAN) but any of you bsg'ers might laugh because we got a kitten at the hospital (with rectal prolapse) and her name was Caprica6...:D

great thread for a lazy easter sunday. hope everyone is chowing down on chocolate or whatever sugar laden item is your fav.

any serenity fans?

I love Lost, Scrubs, South Park, Daily Show, ER, and Grey's anatomy. Those are the only shows I watch, tivo them all and watch them all every weekend. Love it!
I got the flu for Easter, ugh, but it gives me free license to lay on the couch alll day and pass in/out of consciousness w00t

I've missed the last couple Lost episodes, why did Jack join the 'others' and why is the group trying to get rid of Sawyer?
ER is finally new this week  I was starting to think they had canceled it!! Can't wait til Thursday.

Hope you feel better InfiniVet.

capella, that's the funniest thing i've heard in a week.

HAHAHAHA LOL LOL oh man... that made my day

i honestly never got scrubs. it just didn't make sense...people kept telling me it was hilarious but i mostly just thought it was boring, the few episodes i actually sat through...i'm a lost addict....now THAT is one heck of a show

does that make k9<3er a canine 'baller'? that's pretty cool. like, a dog all "baller"'d-out. sounds like something my students would come up with.

bannana hammock!

i love scrubs, and the office. and house. but not grey's anatomy.

I'm so totally down with scrubs and Firefly. Last semester, when Comedy Central was showing scrubs daily, my roommates would cede the TV to me at 7.

Am I the only one who, when high-fiving someone, will stick up my hand and say, "Show the Todd some love!"?

Absolutely not...and you have to finish with the snap.

You are so wrong...Grey's is best and everyone knows it! :)

"Four years of high school, four years of college, four years of med (vet)school. By the time we graduate we're in our late 20s and we've never done anything except go to school and think about science. Time stops. We're socially ******ed. Ha, I mean, look at me, I'm in love with a guy who won't say he loves me back and here I am, in his kitchen, just hoping he comes home and notices me. I'm that girl, who sits in the back of the class and eats her hair. And Meredith, she's 17 years old, we're all 17 years old. This is high school with scalpels." -Callie from Grey's Anatomy

Please tell me I'm not the only one who watches scrubs 90% for the luscious Dr. Cox, and 10% for the show itself?

Mmmm, Dr. Cox. (sorry- sick sad thing for the redheaded ones)

j.

LOL... yeah he's not too bad in Scrubs, but I just can't get over how he looked in Office Space- ewww!

I saw this online after reading your post this morning, don't worry I'm sure he will be single again soon- those Hollywood marriages never last! :D

`Scrubs' Star McGinley Weds in Malibu
Apr 9, 3:51 PM EST

The Associated Press

NEW YORK -- "Scrubs" star John C. McGinley is a newlywed, his spokeswoman said Monday.

McGinley, 47, married yoga instructor Nichole Kessler, 34, Saturday in Malibu, Calif., publicist Nancy Iannios told The Associated Press.

He proposed last August, Iannios said. He has an 9-year-old son, Max, from a previous marriage.

McGinley plays the acid-tongued Dr. Perry Cox on the loopy sitcom "Scrubs," which airs on General Electric Co.'s NBC network.

His film credits include "Office Space," "Any Given Sunday" and "Are We Done Yet?"

Hollywood marriages might not last, but... yoga instructor? I don't know about you, but I can't compete with that. Ah well, he'll have to stay my TV bf.

I'm not gonna lie, I've got to agree here. I started watching Grey's from Day 1, and am still IN LOVE with the show. Yes, it has stopped focusing quite as much on cool cases (and I wouldn't mind them putting more of that back in), but seriously? Seriously.

(And I've really gotta start watching Scrubs and the Office... I've heard such great things about them, but I've only watched a couple episodes of the first and I've never seen a single episode of the latter)

ahhh, how do i erase posts? (my computer just went a little crazy...)

LMAO seriously? seriously.

It's so much fun to go back through the episodes and see how many times they say it.

I loathe most of the aforementioned shows, except South Park of course.

Anyone been watching the Planet Earth series on Discovery? Some of the stuff they caught on camera has blown my socks off. Two photographers stayed through the ANTARTIAC WINTER, the inland Antarctic winter mind you, to film the Emperor penguin males amazingly incubating their eggs for four months. They also caught a pride of lions taking down an elephant. This is the best documentary I've ever seen!

No one can  .

agree! we have been watching and plan to buy the series (apparently, david attenborough narrates the ones for bbc, so may get those instead - since we grew up with him as our tv "wildlife specialist")

the one that really amazed us was the snow leopard kill. it is so RARE so see a snow leopard ever - even if one lives in the area - and to see a kill. what beauty!

AN ALLY!

Thats an awesome series, though I didnt see that one. My boyfriend has a gigantic plasma and we watch it on discovery HD and I cant go back to regular television. You can see the most amazing details in HD.

Planet Earth must be mind-blowing on a plasma - it's fabulous on my ancient lo-def TV!!

The snow leopard bit was awesome!! On the DVDs there are these video diaries where they show what it's like to try and film those segments, and they were searching for the snow leopards for weeks including over christmas, and when they got a lead about some sightings they couldn't go film in the area cos there were armed forces looking for Osama. It really shows what they have to go through for those few minutes that we see!

My family's all huge fans of David Attenborough, we have the whole Life Collection, and the Blue Planet, and planet earth on DVD :D I didn't realize there were other versions not narrated by him though.

I thought I was being so smart ordering the Planet Earth box set from amazon uk so I could watch it before it aired on Discovery channel and w/o commercials. That was until I found out that it won't play in my DVD player because of the stupid region code thing. But I'm still happy I did because David Attenborough is way better than Sigourney Weaver and I watch them with my laptop plugged into my tv. They changed the order of the episodes, footage and the narration (subtly). for discovery channel, the BBC version is way better.

I also love scrubs, galactica, lost, south park and rome.

wivet2011 - Thanks for the well wishes :) They haven't quite fully explained yet why Jack joined the others, other than for a promise to be sent home to USA, which fell through when John blew up the submarine. Hurley didnt want to get rid of Sawyer, just wanted him to act more like a leader and less of an ass.

Dr. Cox is totally nawt cute. Then again I can't stand red-heads...to me, I can't tell the difference between down syndrome people and red heads =P

That and people with lisps..if Brad Pitt developed a lisp he would cease to be hot!

*ducks before people start throwing things at me*

Amazon is selling the Richard Attenborough versions of Planet Earth with region one encoding. And only $50!!! *clicks pre-order*
