Shout out to @Goro in particular, I've been getting help from him for years. Three years ago he talked straight with me about what I needed to do to get admitted, so I did and I got admitted. I know a lot of people get turned off by how blunt he can be but the advice is the truth and invaluable. He treats you the exact same way admissions committees will because he's part of one

Whether it's a funny troll post we get worked up about until we realize it or genuine advice on the helluva process that is applying for medical school this site has kept me sane the last 4 months.
