Using the advanced search works well. Make sure you don't use the google search bar at the top. It is truly terrible.

i find the search option kind of useless as well. let's say i wanted to find an answer to a particular question... i'd type in "school name" & "secondaries". then moments later, i see a billion results within the pre-allo forum. And most of the time, the answer is barry deep in a thread. Yes i know you can search within a thread as well but it's such a hassle. I tend to just re-ask the question on the board and let someone link me to the original answer.

I didn't even notice the search option on the bar, since the Google option is so prominently displayed and promoted. It's worth crap as ya'll have said.
