Good question, i was going to start a thread for this, but id also like to add would any school not send secondary applications bcs of low mcat score from last year and wait until the new mcat score???
Would love to know what people think about this as well. Have been getting a bunch of secondaries eventhough I don't yet have an MCAT score to discuss...
If you told them you are going to retake the MCAT, they aren't going to look at your application again until it comes in. Feel free to work on secondaries and turn them in in the meantime.
And even if your MCAT is poor and you decide not to apply this year, you'll be considered a re-applicant at any school that got your primary. You might as well submit those secondaries and put your nice interview shoes on! Good luck.

I'm completing my secondary essays and submitting them on the day I get my MCAT score. I lose some time doing that, but I'd be too stressed to take the MCAT knowing my application is already sitting at a med school.
