i think its 2/Squareroot of 2


i even googled it and they said its Squareroot of 2


WTH, did topscore make a mistake or am i missing something

2/Sqr(2) is actually the same number as Sqr(2) if you multiply both denominator and numerator by Sqr(2) to get rid of Sqr expression in the denominator.

cosine of 45 is sqrt2 / 2

so reciprocal of that is 2/ sqrt2

you need to rationalize so multiply top and bottom by sqrt2 and get
2sqrt2 / 2. Then cancel the 2 on the top and bottom.
