So I'm considering either getting a second bachelors or doing a post bacc. degree at harvard extension school, the up-side of a second bachelors is that I can apply for scholarships and housing maybe even get credits and finish it in 2-2.5 years, the post bacc is shorter and lasts 1 year and apparently veery highly regarded.

What do you guys think?

What's the point of getting a second bachelors degree? Why are you considering a post-bacc, for the grade boost or a career change?

I'm considering a post bacc because my first bachelors was completed in Australia, the bachelors is internationally recognised but the subjects arenot so essentially I have no GPA and most med schools need me to study in the U.S. for 1 year before applying.

Either will do. If you can swing the cost of the post-bac, I'd go with that. It keeps you moving forward in academia rather than forcing you to redo a degree for the heck of it.

I would go with the second bachelor's. From my understanding, a post-bacc program will not grant you a degree. Instead, you'll just have taken a lot of extra classes without a degree to show for it. Now, that being said, if you already have one bachelor's, it shouldn't take you 2-2.5 years to accomplish a second one. You said you obtained your first degree in Australia, so does that mean some of your credits are not transferring? If that's true, then I can understand the length of time you suggest.
