My AACOMAS application has been verified two days ago, and I've been waiting for the "Release dates appear next to schools." and they haven't yet. I then received an email today saying that NSU received my AACOMAS application (It has not appeared released on AACOMAS) and that I needed to fill out their application to apply to the school and pay a $50 fee. I'm confused..., did I not already pay the fee in my AACOMAS application already? Because that's crap If I have to pay another fee. when I already paid. Can anyone verify this or know about it?

Sincerely- *Angered poor college student*

Are you aware of secondary fees? Every school has a secondary fee that you must pay when you submit their secondary applications

It wasn't a secondary invite though. "(NSU-COM) has recently received your application from the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Services (AACOMAS). NSU-COM requires each applicant to complete an online NSU Admission Application and to pay a $50 nonrefundable application fee. " - from the email. I'm confused as to why I'd be paying another application fee.

That's probably the secondary fee.

Just wait until you get the secondary.

AACOMAS releases your application once a week. Then each individual school has a day that they download it.

Relax.

I'll relax when things are worded correctly?

I received the same e-mail with the same wording a few weeks ago as did or will everyone that indicated NSU on their primary. It is definitely the secondary application fee which you will have for every school you intend to apply to and ranges from anywhere between $50 and the secondary I got from Touro CA fee was $100. If for peace of mind you don't want to go buy what people are posting on this thread you can call the admissions office but that e-mail is your secondary application invite and the fee associated.

the Nova secondary fee is $50. They refund you the money if you get accepted and matriculate, same with their $2000 seat deposit.

It is applied to tuition.

Question for my secondary for nova do I list the same thing which I had in my primary for my job experience and volunteer information? Can I just copy and paste or do I have to find a whole new way to list the same thing over again?

One thing that has been said over and over again in these forums - and I fully agree - is you just get better writing secondary's the more you do! With that said, the first time I was asked this question on a secondary, I pretty much just copied and pasted. The second time I elaborated and tied it all together in narrative including emphasis on DO philosophic alignment. In other words, I wouldn't just copy and paste again, personally. Good luck.
