Anyone else feel like that although they made the decision to go to a particular school, that maybe the grass is greener on the other side? lol, choosing schools was hard enough, but then getting bombarded with more brochures and pamphlets of "how great their school is" and "our school > all" gets me thinking sometimes.

I'm just mentioning this, b/c I'm still receiving stuff from Pacific (ugh, why must you be so appealing).

Anyone else second guessing their decision?

Pacific is sending you stuff even though you dont have a deposit with them?

What school did you decide on?

I think he's going to go to UCLA. He had rejected Pacific.

remember what advice your facebook friend gave you? 🙄

*SITCOM MOMENT*...ahah..

Really though, I feel that all the time. Even though the school I let go isn't that great! I'm sure everyone is second guessing themselves so don't beat yourself up over it, you're going to do well wherever you go! (ESP if it was between UCSF UCLA or UoP 😉 )

Unfortunately, the second guessing doesn't stop right away...

I couldn't agree more with NAVY. I'm currently at UCLA and there were definitely points during the last few years in which I second guessed my decision. The grass always seems greener on the other side. Ultimately, I found that once I finally stopped second guessing myself and trusted that I made an informed decision yeas ago I was much happier...

exactly, the more you doubt yor decision, the more you'll be unhappy. happened with my undergrad school, and it's just made me miserable. so don't look back. from talking to professors and students, everything at ucla has been really turned around for the better lately, especially things like clinic. so we have nothing to regret. plus we have a pretty cool group of students joining us next year. i'll just say it...ucla is the perfect choice, haha.

Thanks guys(or ppl) for your input/insight.

Regarding Pacific, I had a deposit (bye bye 1k 🙁 ). It's just harder when almost all your colleagues are going to or currently attending Pacific Dent and your UCSF student interviewer says she would recommend going there instead. I have my reasons for not going to Pacific, but I'm was probably just being an indecisive bastard, haha. There's also the significant other issue and staying in norcal which made the UCLA decision a lot harder.

But alas, I did choose academics over my personal life.
