Is a second Letter of intent over doing it? I have already sent one to nycom before i got the interview, and got an interview after i sent it. Dont know if it was letter that got me the interview though because i only mailed it in a week before i received the interview. I was looking though a forum and came across someone who send another loi after he interviewed with the school. I wanted to know what does everyone think of that. I dont want to come off to pushy, to an extent that i annoy the committee. Should i send in another loi after i interview to thank them etc and reiterate to them my desire to go there? Thank You in advance.

I sent in two loi's after I interviewed. One immediately after I interviewed thanking them for having me interview and the last one was a loi and an update. It hadn't hurt so far I've been emailing them for confirmations and thanked them and they have been really nice and encouraging 😉

thank you... congrats on touro ny, i might be going there depending on nycom

i really really like tourocom ny, but id rather be with family who live in LA, plus i get to drive my car which is something id have to give up if i was in nyc.

Send them a thank you note/card for the interview, and include information in this about your desire to go.

Call the admissions office every week or two to get an "update on your application status" and remind them of your interest.

according to your profile u still have az to go. who knows, u might like that school more than tu or even western right

I think I'm going to cancel azcom, I'm more interested in tourocom then azcom. Only la would be a definate and nova would be a toss up.

yeah, i canceled my azcom interview for april because i already got into some schools i want to go to so why bother with a late interview. AZCOM is great but why kid myself, it's not CCOM (got into that one) haha. as 4 nova, i'm thinking about turning in that matric instead of t-ny. hard decisions. anybody in this forum got any advice?

haha sorry eel i didn't mean that in a bad way. i just like CCOM's reputation in chicago because it is where i want to do my residency. but a medical education in new york is a bit too good to turn down.

No problem. I was just messin' with ya. 😀

driving in la is not too bad, especially out by pomona and the surrounding areas (i got family in pasadena, montebello and it wasn't too bad driving around). as far as nova, i really loved the school, but hate the dress code.

it didnt seem to bad, i have spent half my life in traffic out here in chicago, so it doesnt bother me. I also wanna upgrade to a SL55 or convertible M6 so i really wouldnt mind the traffic every once in a while... that is if i ever get accepted to Western.

you'll fit right in with a fancy car. I work at a car place, not a dealership, but alot of gear heads, and everyone is pimping a new 5 series

the two things i love most is medicine and cars. i want to get an m6 so that i can fit 3 other people (students) in my car for carpooling or something like that, but i currently have a sl500 and i dont know if its the smartest thing to get a 2 seater again. i had the old model m5 (2000) and it got totaled last september and i just got it settled with the insurance company about 2 weeks ago!

WESTERN, just accept me please! lol.

gas prices suck out here too. my kompressor engine KILLS gas
