the place i am most likely ranking number 1 is a program i haven't rotated at, so i was thinking of going back for a second look...the only thing is, i haven't done any ophtho rotations in about four months now, so my clinical skills (as well as my knowledge of ophtho) is pretty rusty...could it hurt me to do a second look? is this a time when you're expected to impress? my chair is already planning on calling them (in fact, he may have already done so) to tell them that they're my #1, so is a second look even worth it if they're already going to know that they're my top choice?
