I know this probably is a silly question, but is there such a thing as a "second look" day for osteopathic schools where you can bring your family/sig. others and reevaluate the schools you've been accepted at?

There are some "accepted students' days", which might serve the same purpose if you're one of those people comfortable with "breaking" a deposit at one school to enroll in another.

I think opting out of an acceptance is a fairly common practice.

Perhaps you can just call and ask to tour the campus. Let them know you've been accepted and why you're there and I'll bet they would be happy to accommodate you.

I know that before I had even applied, I toured several of the campuses I was interested in. In every case, an admissions person took me around, discussed the school and answered questions.

Anyhow, if you're already accepted, I can't see how it could hurt to ask.

Usually the school informs you of some kind of formal day. For example, TCOM has a meet and greet date in March roughly a month and a half after the TX match date for accepted students to tour the campus and talk with faculty. They get a lot of information as well. For those who can't make it, they also host an online chat to answer questions throughout that week.
