Hey guys!
So, what's the protocol for doing second looks at programs? Specifically, who do I contact (PD?), can I look at more than one program assuming I can afford it (like my top two choices)?, when is the best time to do this (now?).

Also, any word on what to expect during these second looks? like do we work a shift or shadow a resident for a few hours?

I was told by a few PD's that I should just email them and they'd set it up. Don't know what the protocol is when you get there though.

I have a couple of second looks coming up, including one at my top choice (where I feel fairly confident about matching). I am curious as to whether there is much pimping on the average visit? I just want a better look at the program - if I wanted to be pimped I'd roll in for another day on the surgery service for sh*&s and giggles.

by the way I'm going for a spot in PM&R.
