I thought a thread which listed the SECOND most common cause of things would be interesting, as all of us can easily find the most common cause, but second most common is harder to come by.

Heres one to start:

Prostate cancer is the second most common cause of cancer in men, right after skin cancer.

FAS is the most common preventable. Fragile X is the most common hereditary. Down's is the most common congenital cause overall. I am pretty sure CP is the most common cause overall.
