Second Residency?

Hi-
I'm new to this site - it's great! I am seriously considering doing a second residency in psychiatry. I am 10 years out from a pathology residency. Since then, I have mostly worked in the field of medical informatics.
Anyone out there do a second residency? How competitive is psych? I live in the DC area -- is this area particularly competitive? Any tips on improving my changes of getting in?

I saw a statistic from someplace somewhere that said that psychiatry was the most "switched-into" field in medicine. In that sense, you're not alone.
