Second Round Interviews

When do you think the second round interview invites will get into full swing? I have been waiting patiently for months with only one interview so far. I am looking to snag at least one more.

I just got an invite from Nova last week. It's for February, so at least they have gotten into the post-December mix. Case is completely done with invites all the way through May.

i have no idea. i have 5 or 6 schools that have had app for a few months, but no rejection or invite?

Most schools have already started giving out second rounds...but it is definitely not in full swing quite yet. Should be soon I imagine.

Maybe after Jan 15th? I believe most schools will have approximate numbers of enrollees by then, and they will resume inviting.

Schools will probably plan ahead Bruiinlove, and start scheduling interviews for right after Jan 15th soon. If they get too many people who enroll Dec 1st, they just add some of those guys to the waitlist if their class fills.

If you take a look at Predents, it does not seem that many schools are conducting second round interviews yet. Do any of you know specific schools that have started sending out second round invites?

not trying to hijack OP's thread, but im wondering about these schools:

All of these have my whole app and are not waiting on anything to arrive:

Alabama
Kentucky (hold for comparison)
Louisville
Temple
Tufts
NYU
BU

other than all of them saying under review, im not sure what to think....?

i have not gotten interviews or rejections, they have all had app complete for about 1 or 2 months. what should i think?

My friend told me that Stony Brook sent him an invite today - its for sure a second round invite. Im assuming that they are starting now.
I still want to know what is up with Maryland. My stats are competitive for their school yet they still have not sent me an invite. Anyone in the know about them?

From what I know, they are still "reviewing candidates." I have been under review for 4 months now and I'm in-state and was waitlisted at Maryland twice. I believe they are almost done (if not already) giving out pre-dec 1st interviews. As far as I know, once they email you their supplemental (and you return it)... they send out the invite...

Hey Rubber Dam Man. I just got my senondary application Jan 08, im sure its the second round. does this mean that i have an interview, or does everyone that get a a secondary/supplemental get an interview???? i emailed it bak asap

Hey Rubber Dam Man. I just got my senondary application Jan 08, im sure its the second round. does this mean that i have an interview, or does everyone that get a a secondary/supplemental get an interview???? i emailed it bak asap

I'm not 100% positive, but I think everyone here who got the secondary app email received an interview invite within a week or so.

Perhaps you should check the date of his post. It was over 2 years ago! 😛
