im not sure how many of u out there are in the same boat as me, but what study recommendations do u guys have?? im obsessed with the destroyer, it has helped me so much!!! basically, everyone should be using it i think.. i have just been doing the problems over and over and studying the explanations but what else have u guys used that you think is up to parr with the OAT Destroyer? thanks...

I didnt use the oat destroyer but i did use topscore and an exam krakers mcat study package. i also used the thin kaplan book which i ended up really liking becuase of the in depth answers offered for ALL the problems in the book. topscore gives great experience with the test layout but is much harder than the real thing in my opinion. i thought the kaplan book was a good representation of the oat.

How come your retaking, I remember reading that you had a pretty decent score first time around?

the Kaplan OAT 2007-8 book was really good and so were all the subject practice tests from the Kaplan course

Well SUNY put me on hold until March and they're my top choice. They didn't say that my OAT score was specifically the problem but I still felt I could do better, which would only increase my chances. plus, if, gd forbid, they dont accept me in the end, i dont wanna have any regrets and wonder what could have happened had i taken it over and done much better... thats my story, but its really hard to find the motovation because Dr. Johnston didnt really push me towards re-taking it... whatever... i just wanna get in!

hey zoosh, i found that the kaplan book was very good..and i used topscore/achiever also..best of luck on your OAT. When are you taking it?

not sure yet.... but the last OAT SUNY accepts is on Feb 2th so sometime before that!!
