A few schools request submission of their secondary within two weeks. Is that from the date that they send their e-mail with the link to their online secondary or is that from the date that you log-in to their online application and start the online app? Either way, I know that I should be working to complete these as quickly as possible. But, this will impact my decision on how to allote my time towards specific schools.

Thanks.

From the date they send you the email. But really no secondary should take you longer than a week from the receipt date if you allocate your time well and focus.

Well, that'd be nice, but for those of us who have full-time jobs and have applied to more than 5-10 schools, one week is quite short a time in which to do anything that's reasonably well put together.

I work 48 hours/week and applied to 31 schools. It can be done.

Which schools? So far I've only seen Case Western ask for a two week submissions. I'm kind of doing mine in the order I receive them so hopefully I don't open one of my secondaries a few weeks from now and realize that it's gotta be turned in overnight!

I had a 40-45hr/week job, plus I taught for Princeton Review which added anywhere from 10-15 hrs/wk while I was doing my 19 secondaries.

I never had a secondary take me longer than a week. And they apparently were put together just fine because I had a very successful cycle.

I found that once I had done like 3 I had written pretty much every essay possible. They just had to be modified for each school. If you stay organized and focused when you're working you'd be surprised how fast you can go.

Case and Miami Miller have 2 week timeframes. I've heard Northwestern does too, but I haven't received it yet.
